Women’s Backpacking Course

About Your Instructor:

My name is Tamar Tashdjian. I’m an experienced hiker and backpacker. Backpacking is a rewarding hobby, but it also requires planning and preparation. I have been on several backpacking expeditions, and have experienced first hand the many dangers that being in nature encompasses. I take safety very seriously, and I’ve come to realize that the best way to be safe in a situation is to be prepared for it. Since resources to help guide women on this topic are limited and expensive, I decided to start a women’s backpacking course and make it affordable.
